Project: HELM is a hands on, boating program created by the AMP Community Arts Program in partnership with the Museum Shores Yacht Club. Project:HELM (Harbor Education Life-Safety Mindset) is designed to raise boating awareness in youth, ages 10 – 18, from the Chicago communities of South Shore and Washington Park. The program will take place every Saturday in July and focuses on four main activities: boating skills, harbor safety education, personal leadership development, social and cultural enrichment. Project:HELM will be held in the Museum Shores Harbor.
