The Summer Fling Jam activity is a youth-led project. The Summer Fling Jam will consists of youth and community residents engaging in activities in the community. The activities are dancing with the stars, singing with the Star karaoke contest, treasure hunt, photo booth, line dance, family bingo and other outside games. There will be refreshments, entertainment and prizes. Local community agencies, churches, police District 11 and businesses will be invited to collaborate on recruitment and participate in the planning of the activities. Community resource information will be provided to all attendees. The event will be held in the North Lawndale community.
